Our owner and Executive Chef, John Fleer understands it is the nature of his profession that dinner at home with his family will not always be in the cards.  If he can’t be at home for dinner, he wanted to create an experience at Rhubarb that replicates that feeling of sharing a family table for others, and for himself.

When Rhubarb first opened, through March of 2020, we offered a Sunday Supper experience: a communal table allowing you to forge new connections over a family-style, prix-fixe menu. The landscape of the restaurant world changed dramatically in 2020, and while we pressed pause on Sunday Supper then, it was always in our minds that we would bring it back. We invite you to join us on Tuesdays starting in September 2022 for Tuesday Table.

The dinner table is a universal opportunity for people who may or may not know each other to reflect on the day and on their shared experiences.  Maybe children and restaurants don’t always mix perfectly, but the table is where kids learn to talk, listen, share, and become a part of a community. Families and communities, however you define them, harmonize naturally at the dinner table, at a restaurant or in the home. That’s how we hope everyone will experience Tuesday Table.

Our goal is to make it easy and delicious, and to share a little chat & chew time together.

Each Tuesday, in the Rhubarb dining room we will serve a three-course, family style-meal. The menu will be unique each week, always inclusive of vegetarians, and will serve to highlight the best of what our farm partners have to offer. You can view upcoming menus below, and we hope you’ll share our excitement for something a little different from our regular menu. The a la carte menu will be very limited, so please make a note of any dietary restrictions when you make your reservation.

While we are not currently offering a communal seating, we hope you’ll bring your own little communities and book a table for 1 to 8 guests with us. We can’t wait to welcome you back to our table.
